Neil Edward Thompson, age 74 years, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday afternoon, September 9, 2019. Beloved husband of Diana (Arnold) Thompson. Dear father of Jill (Paul) Giblin, Michael (Shawn) Thompson and the late Melissa Thompson. Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Devoted brother of David (Charlotte) Thompson and the late Ralph Thompson and brother in law of Richard and Karen Arnold. Neil is also survived by a large extended family and many dear friends. Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy on Friday, September 13 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. College Hill-Harry S. Johnson Lodge, No. 641 F. & A.M. will hold services at 7:00 PM followed by a funeral service with Pastor Keith Wells, Officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at Crown Hill Memorial Park on Saturday September 14 at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association www.heart.org
