BORGER - Norma Jean Griffith, 68, died Monday, July 2, 2007.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Word of Life Church with the Rev. Norman Shuman, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Griffith was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Canyon, and had been a Borger resident for two years. She was a homemaker, a church cook and she founded Shepherd House in Amarillo. She was a member of Word of Life Church in Borger.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Joe Francis Healy and Arlie Anderson Healy.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Healy and Stuart Shuman, both of Borger; four daughters, Cindy McMullen and husband DeWayne of Conroe, Patricia Kay Wright and husband Craig and D'Anna McDaniel and husband Floyd, all of Borger, and Kristy Lamb and husband Butch of Abilene; a brother, William Neil McMillan of Amarillo; a sister, Edith Arleen Miles of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
