Bio

If you write to me, please send me the memorial number of the person you are referencing. Thank you.

Any marker/headstone photos I take, I take to share. Feel free to use the photos I take, and please, no credit necessary. Please do not put my name and/or email on a memorial. The biography is to be about the memorialized person. Thank you so much!

NOTE: I take a lot of photos, but don't keep the photos. If you are considering deleting your memorials, instead please consider transferring them to FindAGrave ID # 8 with the 'Transfer Memorial' button.

Rose Hills, Whittier has an online burial locator and it would be helpful if memorial managers would complete this info on existing memorials. Many times, the birth date is also listed, which helps differentiate between memorials with the same names. https://www.rosehills.com/obituaries

Pacific View Memorial Park - Corona Del Mar - the cemetery has a strict privacy policy, if you are related, please call and obtain plot information for a photo request. Note: Kobe Bryant and daughter are unmarked and the cemetery will not give out their plot information. There are many unmarked graves at Pacific View, even with flowers. John Wayne's family didn't set a marker until 10 years after his death. I don't expect Kobe's to be marked any time soon.

I love Forest Lawns' GPS App (downloadable app) and the Rose Hills GP (online from their site).

I leave flowers on almost every memorial that I submit edits for and/or research and usually don't have any additional information on the memorials I research.

I walk the rows and take lots of photos, but I'm always happy to transfer a memorial to any family member/friend with an interest in being the manager of any memorial I make. Please ask, send an email, a message or through other suggestions. Also, I hate to waste a good photo, so I will usually add mine even if there is already a photo of the marker, especially if it looks really different.
