POMEROY — Edwin Graves Ash, 80, of Pomeroy passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born March 29, 1929, in Pageville to the late Pearl and Mary (Graves) Ash. Mr. Ash worked as a maintenance supervisor at the Kyger Creek Power Plant.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Nate Lehew; and his brothers and sisters, Ester Smith, Charles Ash-Haning, Harold Ash, Patsy and Jim Warner, Shirley Ash and Linda Ash.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with the Rev. Brian May officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Military graveside honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 39 of Pomeroy.
