He is survived by his wife, Debbie Walls of McMinnville; brothers, Selmer Walls of Murfreesboro, James Walls, and Howard Walls both of Woodbury; sisters, Joyce Bogle of Lebanon, Shirley Tittle, Freda Barlow, Geraldine Byford, Kathy Walls all of Murfreesboro, Thelma Pendergrast of Morrison, and Ann Davis of Woodbury; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. David grew up in a big family and learned how to become a jack of all trades. One of his favorite jobs and hobbies was working on vehicles. He enjoyed being outdoors. He loved raising roosters and his little dog, Hank. He taught Hank how to howl to music and danced with him through the house. He was a simple man with a good heart. He would help anyone. His nieces and nephews were special to hm and loved them dearly. Through his ups and downs he found a belief in God and had even become an ordained Baptist minister.
Mr. Davidβs wish was to be cremated and no service be held. Share thoughts, memories, and condolences with the family at www.smithfuneralhomewoodbury.net. Smith Funeral Home, 303 Murfreesboro Rd. Woodbury, TN 37190, 615-563-5337
