BLACKBURN, Shelah Edward Age 63, of Lebanon, TN, died Thursday, October 9, 1997 at St. Thomas Hospital. Mr. Blackburn was preceded in death by his father, O. U. Blackburn; two brothers, Glenn Blackburn and Donnie Blackburn. Mr. Blackburn is survived by his wife, Shirley Nolen Blackburn of Lebanon; four daughters and sons-in-law: Sherrie and Capt William (Bamm) Wynns, Sharon (Sha) and Brad McDaniel, Karon (Kay) and Gary Ribbons and Kimberly and Barry Forkum, all of Lebanon, TN; five grandchildren, Joshua Chick, Shantrell McDaniel, Chloe McDaniel, Jesse Forkum and Ciarra Ribbons; mother, Mrs. Minnie Lee Edwards Blackburn of Carthage, TN; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Martin of Carthage, TN and Mrs. Mable Alcorn of Silver Point, TN; brother, Reese Blackburn of Manchester, TN.
Mr. Blackburn's remains are at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, October 12, 1997 at 2:00 PM, conducted by Elder R. E. Hibbs, Elder James Read and Bro. Kevin Dye. Interment Wilson County Memorial Gardens, Lebanon, TN. Visitation Saturday, 3 PM to 9 PM and Sunday, 10 AM to 2 PM BASS FUNERAL HOMES, 683-8212
