Nancy Marie McCoy, 86, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
She was born in Christiansburg, VA, daughter of the late Patrick Henry, and Emma Vaden Sullivan.
Three of her children; Danny, Mark and Chip Rogers as well as her sister, Jackie Shields, have also preceded her in death.
Nancy was very dedicated in her service to Jehovah. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She was also a marvelous cook.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Algie; six children, Jeff Rogers (Natasha), Melody Hodges (Robert), Cindy Rogers (Brian Higgins), Michael Rogers (Cherie), Angela McCoy, Algie McCoy, Jr. (Kelly); 27 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at the graveside 11:00 AM Friday, September 6, 2019 at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton. Mr. Richard Wimberly will officiate.
