FIVE VETERANS IN ALABAMA

Five veterans of the Civil war, all of whom are nearly 80 years old or over, reside in the town of Alabama. They are as follows: Marion Filkins, who will be 81 years old on February 20th and who was in the regiment of Colonel Peter A. Porter; Charles Shucker, who is about 82 years old; Alonzo Quackenbush, who is about 80 years old; Riley Thayer, who is nearly 90, and Reuben Casey, who is nearly 80.

CHARLES H. SCHUCKER

Lockport. Feb 7. — Charles H. Schucker, 85, died today at the home of his son, William Schucker. He served three years during the Civil War in the Union Army and was a member of Sprout Post, G. A. R. of this city. His son is the only relative. Funeral Saturday at 2 o clock at an undertaking establishment in Main Street. Middleport. Burial in Dysinger Cemetery.
