John was born in Plainville on February 12, 1918 son of the late Frank and Victoria (Duwvik) Grabowski. He was a proud alumnus of New Britain High School. He was a retired employee of Fafnir Bearing Co. in New Britain where he had resided for several years before moving to Southington.
He leaves his children, Terry Kalber and husband Ray of Coventry, John Grabowski Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Bristol and Old Orchard, ME; 4 grandchildren and several g. Grandchildren. He was predeceased by all of his ten siblings.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday May 4, 2012 at 1PM at St. Dominic Church 1050 Flanders St. in Southington followed by interment of his cremains in St. Thomas cemetery. There are no calling hours The DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Southington has been entrusted with his arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Dominic Church.
