Funeral service for Henry Allegood, Sr., 82, who died Thursday at his
home on Moultrie Route 1, were held Friday at the Funston Baptist
Church. Burial was in the Funston Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Fisher
and Alex Herring officiated.

Pallbearers were Milford Allegood, Rayburn Allegood, Leason Wiggins,
Buster Allegood, Alden Allegood, Billie Allegood.

He is survived by his wife; five sons, A. L. Allegood of Doerun Route
1, J. C. Allegood of Hartsfield, H. J. and Roy Allegood of Moultrie
Route 1, and Henry Allegood Jr. of Moultrie; five daughters, Mrs. S.
Colatriano of Moultrie Route 1, Mrs. A. H. Ward, Mrs. J. D. Smith, Mrs.
Eunice Crawford, and Mrs. J. F. Tumlin of Moultrie; three brothers, J.
E. Allegood and C. L. Allegood of Moultrie, and Aaron Allegood of
Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Dona Yawn of Moultrie and Mrs. Johnie Sloan
of Norman Park; 31 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
