Angela Jean Leach, 72, of Pekin, passed away at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2019 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born February 14, 1947 in Peoria to Daniel John and Mary Elizabeth (Nizzia) Walz. Her parents preceded her in death along with one sister, Colleen DeArcos.
Surviving are one daughter, Denna (Rob) Rushman of Pekin; one son, Marty (Jennifer) Leach of East Peoria; two grandsons, Joshua (Poli) Leach of Bloomington and Jordan Leach of East Peoria; one sister, Carol Camp of Chillicothe; many nieces and nephews; and a life-long friend, Linda Staker of Morton
Angela was a DAV Auxiliary Team member for many years. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother, wife, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
A gathering celebrating Angela’s life will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
