Ronald Gene Atkins, age 78, passed away August 21, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. Atkins (1918-1971) of Carbon Hill, Alabama and Mattie L. “Nancy” Snelling Atkins (1914-1997).
He was a past member of South Avondale Baptist Church. He loved Alabama Football and having breakfast at Wright's Restaurant.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 1:30 - 2:30 at Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlors, 2116 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233 followed by a Graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
