Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Gregory Zimmerman, age 61, will be conducted Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11 AM in Williams Funeral Home of Gordon with Pastor Roger Mileham and Rev. Samuel Chand officiating. Interment will follow on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11AM in Keeler Cemetery in Keeler, Michigan. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home in Gordon on Monday from 10AM until the Service Hour.
Mrs. Zimmerman passed away on October 26, 2018.
She was a native of Watervliet, Michigan and lived there until moving to Georgia.
She was predeceased by parents, Marcus Gregory, Jr. and Mildred Pauline Moore Gregory.
She was a correctional officer with Georgia Dept. of Corrections for many years and became administrative assistant to the Deputy Warden at Metro State Prison. She was a member of Trinity Family Worship Center.
Survivors include her husband, Willard E. Zimmerman of Jackson, GA; daughter, Jenelle (Dennis) Weasner of Michigan; sisters, Linda (Terry) Summerhill of Michigan and Brenda (Samuel) Chand of McDonough; brothers, Mark (Laura) Gregory of Lizella and John (Carol) Gregory of Ivey; 2 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
