He was born in Hartford City on March 11,1944 to Hurcheal E. and Elma (Schwartzkopf) Bell and graduated from Hartford City High School in 1962.
Bill served six years in the National Guard.
On November 20, 1965 he was married.
Bill worked as a Journeyman Plumber and ran his own business for several years, ultimately retiring in 2008 from R.T. Moore, Indianapolis.
Bill’s hobbies were restoring and preserving Model A cars and trucks with his sons and grandsons and watching westerns on TV.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter and son-in-law, two sons, two daughters-in law, two sisters, one brother-in-law, ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Nole Dean Bell.
Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery.
