Marie Hurt Williams, 92, of Bethpage, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home. Born June 18, 1929, in Hendersonville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Franklin Hurt and Elizabeth Savely Hurt.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. When she married and had children, she devoted her time and attention to being a homemaker. She enjoyed being in the yard gardening. She also liked to sew/crochet for her children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Mitchell Lee Corso, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Eugene Williams; daughter Terrie (Terry) Elwood; son Franklin (Jennifer) Williams; grandchildren Teresa Blair, Emily Sato, and Cora Williams; great grandchildren Korryn Olsen, Kaitlynn Olsen, Kiley Olsen, Jonathan Olsen, and Elizabeth Weber.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, at Spring Hill Funeral Home from 4 PM until 8 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 10, at 12 pm noon at the funeral home. Family will receive friend and visitors an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
