Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, September 28, 1998, in St. Theresa Catholic Church for Ethel A. Trahan, the former Ethel Albarado, 93, who died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, September 26, in Lady of The Oaks Nursing Home.
Interment will be in St. Theresa Cemetery.
The Rev. O. Joseph Breaux, pastor, St. Theresa Catholic Church of Duson, will be celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the services.
Survivors include three daughters, Delta Thibodeaux and Rosa Mae Spell, both of Duson, and Linda Credeur of Carencro; six sons, Wilton Trahan, Dalton Trahan, Rodney Trahan and Wallace Trahan, all of Duson, Carrol Trahan of Vatican and Paul Trahan of Judice; 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Miller of Scott; and one brother, Albert Albarado Jr. of Duson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edney Trahan; her parents, two grandchildren; and two brothers, Clifford Albarado and George Albarado.
A native of Ossun and a resident of Lafayette for 15 years, Mrs. Trahan was sthe daughter of the late Albert Albarado Sr. of Ossun and the former Elizabeth Miller of Lafayette.
She was a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Community of Duson.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today (September 27, 1998) in the funeral home in Scott.
Visting hours will be observced from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m unti time of services. Monday.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin and Castille Funeral Home Inc of Scott.
