Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at at Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Duson, Louisiana for Rosa Mae Spell, 57 of Duson, Louisiana, who died at 8:55 a.m., Monday, November 22, 2004, at her home in Duson, Louisiana after a lengthy illness.
Interment will be in St. Theresa Cemetery.
The Rev Leonard will officate.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be sadly missed.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Wain Spell; three daugthers, Tina Lavergne and Beverly Spell, both of Duson, Louisiana, and Barbara Spell of Eunice, Louisiana; six brothers, Wilton, Dalton, Wallace, Rodney and Paul Trahan, all of Duson and Carol Trahan of Carencro; two sisters, Delta Thibodeaux of Duson and Linda Credeur of Carencro; and seven grandchildren, Jona and Chasity Lavergne, Joshua, Emily and Blaze Cormier; Kaylan and Dylan Holzli.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Wayne Spell; and her parents Ethel Albarado and Edney Trahan.

Visitation was observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday (November 23, 2004) and will continue from 8 a.m. today (November 24, 2004) until time of service.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Credeur, Paul Trahan, Carol Trahan, Darren Schexnayder, Sr., David Broussard II and John Breaux.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne is in charge of arrangements.
