Ted was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, who served his country during the Korean, French Foreign Legion and Vietnam, (plank owner USS Coralsea, USS Chief, Golden Shell Back). Ted enjoyed golfing, fishing, building miniature ships, making tin men, lush, and kahlua.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sefredo and Rose Casaus; brothers, Henry O'Conner, Richard D. and Eloy Casaus; and sister Lilly Casaus.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Belda Casaus; his children, Ted Casaus and wife Vicki, Diane Dyer and husband Rod, Donna'Lee bowles and husband Mark, Desma Sandin and husband James, Darlene Casaus-Kellum and Nathaniel Luke Kellum; 19 grandchildren, Desire Espino, Karyin Casaus, Justin Casaus, Curtis Woods, Cori Woods, Nikki Clifford, Jalae Dyer, K'Lah Herweg, Teddilynn Hoff, Jacob Dyer, John Brayman, Triston Brayman, Savannah Brayman, Chance Brayman, Janan Canchola, Jeremy Dominguez, Jordan Galbiso, J'Dee Sandin and Nathaniel Luke Kellum; and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Larry Casaus and wife Carmen, Leo Casaus, Clarence Casaus and wife Doris, Joe Casaus, Virginia Johnson and husband Mel, Lupe Casaus-Ruiz, and Debbie Rabago and husband Ruben; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Ted will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.
Inurnment will take place at the Our Lady Assumption Cemetery in Jemez Springs, NM.
