Ann graduated from Porter High School in 1966. Later in life she moved to Springdale, Arkansas, where she lived for twelve years, before moving back to Okay, Oklahoma with her four children from her first marriage.
She married Johnny Carter on January 4, 2007. They made their home in Porter, Oklahoma where she lived most of her life. Ann loved flowers and plants and had a green thumb, she especially liked wildflowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Donsetta, two sisters, Virginia Carter and Carolyn Kelly, one brother, Edward Underwood and one grandson, Justin Waldroop.
Ann leaves behind her husband, Johnny of the home, one son, Lee Waldroop and wife, Laura of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, three daughters, Cindy Kimball and husband, Norman of Hulbert, Oklahoma, Amy Gillenwater and husband, Larry of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Shirl Sanders and husband, Randy of Okay, Oklahoma, step children Nancy Reiss of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jimmy Carter and wife, Tammy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Andy Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two sisters, Kathy Jenkins and husband, Larry of Porter, Oklahoma and Patsy Rhodes and husband, Don of Wagoner, Oklahoma. She will also be missed by her fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service: Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Three Rivers Cemetery in Okay, Oklahoma.
