Mrs. Marion McKeon Taylor Hill, 92, of Eden passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at her residence.
Marion was born in Bergenfield, NJ on June 21, 1927, a daughter of Arthur McKeon and Irene Peters McKeon - Taylor, both deceased.
She was a member of the Garden Club of Bergen County, NJ and a 4-H leader for 15 years. She was a master gardener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Alexander Hill Jr.; her son, John A. Hill III; her daughter-in-law, Mary Hill; her step father, Benjamin Maxwell Taylor and her brothers, Arthur, Raymond and Roy McKeon-Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters, Marian Kathryn (Hill) Poirier and husband Dennis and Kathy Elizabeth (Hill) Atkins and husband Joseph; her grandchildren, Nicci Hill, Sara Hill, Christina (Atkins) Grimes and Noah Atkins; her great grandchildren, Arianna, Aleczander and Aubrey Atkins and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A special thank you is extended to her caregivers who she really loved and friends at the Garden of Eden Senior Center.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Trinity Wesleyan Church. Interment will follow in Dan View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be directed to the Garden of Eden Senior Center.
