Graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1963. Attended Kearney State and Grand Island Business College. Married James Eilts in 1965. They owned and operated S & E Precision Motors. She also worked at the Grand Island Independent and owned and operated Starlit Chassis.
Survived by her husband; two sons, Brooke and Bendan and two daughters, Justine and Ansara; a brother, John Ellis and four sisters, Marily Lif, Beverly Darnall, Lavonne Hansen and Karen Alcorn. Her parents and a brother, Wayne, preceded her in death.
