Martha L. Owens, 79, of Snapps Ferry Road, Afton, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019, at her residence.
She had previously been employed at Andrew Johnson Golf Course for 19 years.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her son: John Wagner and wife, Gay, of Gainesville, Georgia; granddaughter and husband: Brandee and Troy Kilgore of GreenBack ; grandson and wife: Ethan and Heather Wagner of Dayton; granddaughter and husband: Summer and Buddah Payne of Pikeville; granddaughter and husband: Kristin and Brett Myers of Hilton Head, South Carolina; grandson and wife: Dean and Nicole Wagner of Greeneville; grandson: Noah Wagner of Greeneville; great grandchildren: Caleb and Halee Wagner, Keoni, Kai, Ke Koa Payne, Hunter and Gracie Kilgore, Eden, Karis, Lydia and Abigail Myers, and Hayes Wagner; sister: Nancy Osborne; brother and sister-in-law: George and Patsy Barham; daughter-in-law: Pam Wagner; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 9 years: John Dean Wagner; second husband of 9 years: Jacob Owens; mother and father: Margaret and Leon Barham; two sons: Chris Wagner and Doug Wagner; two brothers: Buddy and Kenneth Barham; and three sisters: Alyne Craft, Linda Barham, and Hilda Williams.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 – 7 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Sunday at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Gibbs officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kendal, Andy, and Garth Barham, Tony and Jeff Williams, and Scott Osborne.
