Mr. Barham was a retired sergeant with the Greeneville Police Department and was a former Greene County 911 dispatcher.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of the Greeneville Moose Lodge No. 692.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Kendall and Betty Barham of Manchester, Adam Barham of Greeneville, and Blake "Andy" and Farrah Barham of Knoxville; grandchildren: Bethany, Matthew, and Landon Barham, and Kade, Kole, and Halle Hughes; stepgrandchildren: Kelsi and Tyler Norton; one brother and sister-in-law: George and Patsy Barham of Baileyton; two sisters: Nancy Barham Osborne and Martha Barham Owens, both of Greeneville; brothers-in-law: Tony Williams and William Craft, both of Greeneville; several loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his former wife: Sylvia Barham of Greeneville.
He was the son of the late Leon and Margaret Fullen Barham and was preceded in death by a brother: Charles "Buddy" Barham; sisters: Linda Barham, Alyne Barham Craft, and Hilda Barham Williams; and brother-in-law: Robert S. Osborne.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with interment in Mount Hebron Cemetery. The Rev. Jamie Lively will officiate.
The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Joe Prokop, Charles Jeffers, John Jones, Mack Jones, Terry Cannon, Tim Ward, Steve Spano, and Jon Waddell.
The employees of Greene County 911 will be honorary pallbearers.
