Richard Atamian, 96, of Phildelphia, PA, died August 6, 2019 at Lankenau Hospital. Born and raised in Phildelphia, he attended John Bartram HS before serving in the Army-Air Corps during WWII. He was a graduate of Philadelphia College of Art and worked as a graphic artist in print media. He had been a member of his union the GCCIBT. Richard has cared for his mother until the time of her death in 1991. For the past 10 tears, he has made his residence at Simpson House. In his free time he collected, bought and sold records of varied genres of recordings. Richard had a great imagination and would spend countless hours tinkering. Son of the late John and Armenouhi Atamian, he is survived by his sister, Alice Hagglund, nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by his other siblings.
Service: Graveside service will be 11:00 am Thursday August 15, 2019, at Arlington Cemetery, where friends may gather at the funeral home before the service.
