Henry Richard “Dick” Webb, 93, died Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City following a brief illness.

Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bell (Hobens) Webb, his mother and father, all 11 of his siblings and their spouses, and one great-grandson. He leaves his three children, Jennifer Lucas, Julie Greene, and Randy Webb, and their spouses, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Born on August 26, 1925 to Frank and Mary Bell Webb, he was the 11th of 12 children. He grew up close to his family and served in the Navy during WWII.

He met his wife, Margaret, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and they were married in 1947. They were blessed with three children. He spent his entire career working in the oil industry, beginning with Skelly Oil Company in Tulsa, which later became Getty Oil Company while in McCook, Nebraska and was later purchased by Texaco while living in Denver. He retired at the age of 58 after 36 years of service. Dick was an Elder or Deacon in the church for most of his adult life.

Dick had a great passion for photography and had promised Margaret that he would show her the world when they were married, so they traveled extensively. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a man of great faith and will be missed.

Services will be Friday, August 23rd, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams.
