Mrs. Alia Adkins, 56, of Griffithsville, Lincoln County, died Tuesday at her home after a long illness. Surviving, husband, Lessie, Daughters, Elizabeth Ann Adkins, Linda Mae Adkins and Mrs Dotty Gay Embry of Griffithsville,, Mrs Barbara Evans of New Brighton Pa. Sons Jackie Dean Adkins of Griffthsville, Jimmy Roger of Sias, half sister, Mrs Dolly Adkins of Sias, brothers, Roy, Emory and Hubert Richmond of Palermo. half brother, Andre Dequasie of Spurlocksville. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Palermo Methodist Church at Palermo with the Rev. Roy Withrow and the Rev. Russell Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Martha Cemetery at Sias. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Koontz Funeral Home in Hamlin
