Florella Isabella Wagner, 78, Cornell, former town of Ruby resident, died Tuesday, Oct 26, 1993, at Cornell Area Care Center, Cornell. She was born May 13, 1915, in the town of Anson, the daughter of Harry and Olive (King) Hakes. She grew up in Anson. She married Richard Wagner June 25, 1934 at Gilman, Wis. After their marriage, they lived and farmed in the town of Ruby for many years. She was an active member of the Holcombe United Methodist Church and the Ruby Friendship Club. Survivors include one son, Carl of Holcombe; three daughters, Caroline (Chester) Audorff of Jim Falls, Joyce Birch of Boyd and Doris Wagner of Glendale, Wis.; one brother, William Hakes of Cornell; 12 grandchildren; and 20 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son in rniancy; one brother, James; two sisters, Nettie Green and Dorothy Bowe; and one great-grandson, Andy Munroe. Funeral services will be held at 1 1 a.m. Friday at the Holcombe United Methodist Church with burial in Holcombe Protestant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Gilman Funeral Home in Gilman and one hour prior to church services at the church. Pallbearers will be Chester Audorff Jr., Troy Birch, Richard and Kevin Wagner, Peter Scheidler and Jed Munroe.
