Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Wall Lake for Jean L. Ackerman, 81, who died May 18 at Twilight Acres. Interment was in Wall Lake Cemetery.
Rev. Donald W. Gibson officiated at the service and Mary Ann Hull was organist. Mrs. Roy Russom and Mrs. Glen Determann were in charge of the flowers.
Casket bearers were Wm. Glore, Dr. R.M. Hull, Loyd Heidenreich, Robert Schoneboom, Raymond Kies and Eugene Stock.
Mrs. Ackerman was born December 26, 1890 in Sac County, Iowa and is survived by her husband, Wm. Ackerman of Wall Lake; a son, Fredrich of Mason City; grandson Rick; one brother, James Sillars; a sister, Elizabeth Lovelets of Science Hill, Kentucky; a sister, Marie, Mrs. O'Donnell of San Diego, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Elizabeth Carmichael Sillars, two deceased sisters, Lorraine Sillars and Luella Stark and a brother, Archie Sillars.
