She graduated from Bethel High School. In 1948 she married Charles W. Morrison and shortly later moved to Marietta. Charles passed away in 1968. Betty remarried in October 1978 to Charles R. Wetzel, who passed in 1993.
Betty loved to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking/baking, working in the flower garden, as well as the fields of the farm, quilting, embroidery, and traveling.
Betty is survived by her son Jimmie L. Morrison (Amy), grandson, Charles W. Morrison (Michelle), step granddaughter, Kimberly A. DeVolld, and two great grandsons, Charles W. Morrison and Andrew G. Morrison. She will also be remembered by her two sisters, Geneva Harmon and Ruth McConnell, nine nieces and nephews.
A graveside service has been planned for August 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Ron Calvert officiating.
