Mrs. Cornelia Cuevas Ladner, 78, Standard Community, died Saturday at 8:25 a.m. at the home of her son, Joseph Vertis "J.V." Ladner, Pass Christian, after a two month illness.

Mrs. Ladner, a widow of Loren Ladner, was born Dec. 4, 1898, in the Dedeaux Community the daughter of Laurnet "Loren" Cuevas and Leontine (Ladner) Cuevas. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Dedeaux.

In addition to her husband and parents she is proceeded in death by her daughter Virgnia, one brother Oliver L. Cuevas, and one sister Elvenia (Cuevas) Necaise.

In addition to her son, she is survived by two granchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Venelia (Cuevas) Necaise, Pass Christian, and one brother, Levi Cuevas, Gulfport.

Friends may call at Dedeaux School Sunday at 1 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. William Voller, as celebrant of the Requiem Mass. Burial will be in the Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
