She married Richard Anderson on Sept 5, 1952. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Arlie was a very kind, loving, compassionate lady. She loved joking around with people and had a great sense of humor. She loved working in her yard and planting flowers up until she developed M.S. about 30 years ago. Arlie owned along with her husband Richard, Midway Recycling.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Richard Anderson, Sr.; sisters, Donna Torkkola, Connie Feltus, Jan Erven; brother, Louis “Cy” Stewart. Arlie was the oldest of her siblings.
Arlie is survived by her children: Loretta “Lori” (Jack) Pierce, and Richard (Jill) Anderson, Jr.; grandchildren: Tina Brenny, Teresa Jensen, Tiffany Sorensen, Jennifer Anderson and Mark Anderson; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Interment in Hazelwood Cemetery, Blackberry, MN.
