Stanley Eugene Carter was born in Oklahoma City on February 13, 1952 to Kenneth H. and Louise Carter. He was second of five children. He was baptized under the leadership of Pastor W.K. Jackson at an early age.

He attended Garden Oaks Elementary School, Kennedy Junior High where he played baseball, and one of the coaches was his Dad Kenneth Carter. He graduated from Douglass High School in 1970. He worked for Children’s Hospital, Coca Cola Bottling Co. and did some masonry work during the course of his life. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He enjoyed watching movies and most of all listening to his music. He would go to different churches and give love offerings.

His father Kenneth, mother Louise, his brother James, his sister Janet, 2 nephews Jimmie Rex III and Cedrick Carter Sr, one great niece Areayna all preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sisters, Deborah Carter and Cheryl Ellis, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 1 son Christopher Rivera, a granddaughter Leyla, and a grandson Xavier Rivera, all of San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral service: Saturday, August 10, 2019 both at The Serenity Chapel at Beside Stillwaters Funeral Home and Cremation, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
