Bertha Olive SHAW
Occupation: Teacher & Pianist- Studied music at famed Juliyard School of Music.Church Affiliation- Baptist. Organist Piano and Organ. She was very talented and gave music lessons. She was married to Aubrey Elmer HENDERSON on June 6,1909. They had nine children. One died in infancy. They lived in Maine, Idaho,Willows CA then to Paradise in the early forties where they lived the rest of their lives. She was a member of the Masonic Order of Eastern Star.
A interesting story is that the two sisters Bertha & Maybelle,in their own automobiles,ran into each other in the fog on Pearson Road years ago. It was the only accident that year in Paradise. It was the talk of the town...
