Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 P.M. in the Kramer Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, from 9:00 A.M. until time of service, at the funeral home.
Carol Marie Baillio, 75, of Alexandria, died on Friday, August 2, 2019, in her residence.
Carol is preceded in death by parents, Louis and Ethel Baillio.
Carol will be remembered as a very fun, loving, and caring person. She was very generous and supportive to those around her. Carol held many positions within the City of Alexandria, which included the Mayor’s Office and retired after more than 30 years of service. She was also a member of the AFSCME City Union. Carol served as the president of the City Union. She was a devout Catholic and was a former parishioner at St. Rita Catholic Church and Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. More recently, Carol was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Pineville. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew, Gary Baillio, Jr. and wife, Yvonne, of Anchorage, AK., and one brother, Gary Baillio, Sr., of Alexandria.
