Rena was born on December 7, 1921 in Elmira, NY and was a proud WWII veteran and a lifetime member of the VFW. Rena had an extended “family” at GLF in the payroll department who helped her raise her family. Special love to Dottie Makris, Minnie Williams, Poofin Cornelius, Larry Williams and Ruth Pearson.
Rena married Britton G. Anderson in 1970 and they enjoyed wintering in West Palm Beach and Sarasota Florida, traveling and entertaining friends. Her greatest job was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow.
She is survived by her 3 children, Barbara Manning (James), Jacqueline Fazio (Frank) of Ithaca and Bill Ennis (Sandy) of Troy, IL, 4 grandchildren; Michael Manning (Melissa), Christine Manning (Bob), Sarah Jo Fazio, Britton Fazio, 7 great grandchildren, Sean, Connor and MacKenzie Manning, Casey and Kendall Atwood, Gianna Fazio and Alivia Flood, many special nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend Ruth Pearson.
Rena was predeceased in death by her 2 brothers John F. Lampman (Audrey) and Harold Lampman. Services will be Friday, August 9, 2019 at Bangs Funeral home. Calling hours will be from 10am-11am with the service at 11am. A full military service will follow at Pleasant Grove cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care.
