Les Arthur DeMille
1945 - 2019
VETERAN

Les was born June 6, 1945, to Clarence Rupert and Fern Agnes Saharski DeMille. He proudly served his country by joining the United States Navy, attending his training in Maryland. He served from February 1963 to July 1966. He was dismissed from active duty to reserve duty and received two medals for his service. In February 1969, he was released from reserve duty and recommended for reenlistment with honorable discharge. Les spent many of his years working proudly as a professional truck driver. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, opera, coffee while playing solitaire in the early morning hours, watching movies, trips to Mesquite, but most of all, he enjoyed his grandkids and loved his family. He had a tough demeanor but beneath that was someone who felt things deeply and close to his heart. He had a profound way of influencing and touching people's lives in many ways. Les Arthur DeMille, dad, brother and friend, passed away August 2, 2019. He was 74.
