PFAFF, Richard Allen – age 71 of Fairfield passed away Monday morning, August 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 21, 1948 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Donald and Helen Pfaff (nee Engler). After graduating from Garfield High School in Hamilton, Richard enlisted in the United States Air Force honorably serving overseas. On April 14, 1973 Richard married Karyn Allie Pfaff (nee Richardson) who preceded him in death in 2008. Richard worked as a machinist and fitter at Hamilton Tool until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, DIY projects and cooking. He will be missed by all.
Richard is survived by his children Eddie (Tammy) Pfaff and Tim (Paulette Szymanski) Pfaff; grandson Benjamin Edward Pfaff; sister Loretta (Gomer) Pittman, brother Donald Pfaff and brother-in-law Marlon (Vicki) Richardson; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister-in-laws Sibyl Clemmons and Marcia Pfaff. Rich greatly loved animals and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Animal Friends Humane Society in Hamilton or to the S.P.C.A.
