Linda Jean Turpin of Stuart, Oklahoma passed away in the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa on August 2, 2019. She was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on July 27, 1949 to Bernal and Oleta Withrow Corbitt.
She attended Allen Schools. She enjoyed gardening, canning and sharing the bounty with her friends and family. She was also known for helping others, loved dogs, other animals and enjoyed fishing.
Linda married Melvin Turpin on September 9, 1967 in Texas and he survives her of the home. Other relatives include; two sons, David Turpin of Stuart and Morgan Turpin of Stuart Two sisters, Barbara Peigar and Mike of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, Brenda McNutt and Chip of Ada, Oklahoma. Her parents and two sister precede her in death, Gwen Walston and Betty Jo James.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2019, 10:30 AM, Non Cemetery in Non, Oklahoma. Randell Miller will officiate. Graveside services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
