Mrs. Eugene Guidry Rites in Rayne

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today (May 27, 1966) in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Mrs. Eugene Guidry, 75, the former Eurine Savoie, who died at 4:35 a.m. Thursday in the Rayne Branch Hospital. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Nolton and Ivy Guidry, both of Rayne; two daughters, Mrs. Fernand Boudreaux and Mrs. Merrick Boudreaux, both of Rayne; one brother, Emar Savoie of Church Point; three sisters, Mrs. Orelieus Morreaux of Rayne, Mrs. Lessin Leger of Church Point and Mrs. Israel Carrier of Lawtell; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ivy Guidry, Nolton Guiry, John B. Guidry, and Kermit Duplechien.
The E. D. Melancon & Son Funeral Home of Carencro was in charge of arrangements.
