Bryson City, NC - Services for Spec. 4 Wayne Daniel Jenkins, 21, will be held at 2:30pm Saturday in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

The Rev. Frank Parris will officiate. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery. A military detachment from Ft. McPherson, GA will conduct graveside rites and serve as pallbearers.

Surviving are the father, Edward C. Jenkins and the stepmother, Mrs. Alva Jenkins, both of Bryson City; five brothers, Frank, Kenneth and Carl, all of Bryson City, Jack of Charlotte and Edward Jenkins, Jr., of Franklin; four sisters; Mrs. Dorothy Zinser of Cincinnati, OH, Mrs. Sylvia Rivers of Ferndale, MI, Mrs. Bonnie Breedlove of Royal Oak, MI and Mrs. Patsy McGahaof Bryson City; the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nancy Jenkins of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.

The body will be taken to the residence by Bill Moody Funeral Home, where it will remain until placed in the church one hour prior to the services.
