Mr. Heath was born August 4, 1940, in Helena, Arkansas, son of Thelma Singleton Heath of South Fulton and the late William Henry Heath. He graduated from Martin High School in 1959 and attended Murray State College and Memphis State, graduating with a degree in business.
He married Robyn Kirk of Roanoke, Virginia, presently of Grasonville, on July 12, 1975. Mr. Heath was a self-employed manufacturer representative in the hospital supply field for 20 years. He and his brother, Larry Heath, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, started a manufacturing company in Norfolk, Virginia.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, wife, and brother Larry, include four daughters - Tami Heath of Charleston, South Carolina; Traci Heath of Memphis; Cathy Sumner of Reston, Virginia, and Heather Sumner of Columbia, South Carolina; brother James Heath of South Fulton; and a grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those desiring may make contributions to Queen Anne's County Hospice Volunteers, PO Box 179, Centreville, Maryland, 21617, or to Christ Episcopal Church, Stevensville, Maryland, 21666.
