Edith Ray Perry, 75, of Raytown, MO passed away on July 27, 2019.

Edith was born on September 1, 1943 in Callao, MO to Flossie (Walls) and Paul Summers. She was the second oldest of 7 children.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Paula Darleen Marks, sister Sharla Gail Summers and brother Gordon Dale Summers.

She lived in Raytown, MO where she met Thomas Perry. They were married on June 25, 1962. They raised two sons, Dale Ray Perry and Glenn Stacy Perry. Thomas and Edith celebrated 57 wonderful years together.

Edith is survived by her husband, Thomas Perry of the home, two children, Dale Perry (Loretta) Perry, Glenn Perry, four grandchildren, April (Dean), Jacob Perry, Shawn Perry, Joshua Brown, five great-grandchildren, sister Patricia (Bob) Ginnings, Noel Summers, James Summers and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Gregory Hills Church of God at 7020 James A. Reed Road Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm. at the church. Graveside service will be held at Brooking Cemetery 10004 E 53rd Street Raytown, MO
