ELLIOTT - Funeral servcies for Derrell Carlisle, 51, Elliott, were held today at Church of Christ here with Rev. George Keebler officiating and burial in Hillside Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Wagler Funeral Home, Griswold.
Mr. Carlisle died December 17, 1974 at the Murphy Memorial Hospital, Red Oak.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas B. Carlisle, he was born in Montgomery County, Iowa, August 3, 1923 and was married in 1945 to Virginia Lee, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Gary, Tampa, Florida, daughter, Mrs. John Thomas, Missoula, Montana; sister, Mrs. Thelma Brownlee, San Diego, California; five brothers, Dale and Paul, both of Elliott, Herbert and Harold of San Diego, Clyde, Topeka, Kansas.
Mr Carlisle was a World War 2 Navy Veteran and was a member of The American Legion Post at Griswold and Church of Christ here.
