Carolyn June Speidel, 73, Hill Top Drive, died at 9:08 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.


Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lamb Funeral Home with the Revs. Eddie Elliott officiating and Butch McKnight assisting.


Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.


A native of Russellville, she was born April 5, 1946, the daughter of the late Richard Hyams and Hess Collins Hyams.


She was a member of The House of Love in Crofton. She was a waitress and housekeeper for many years at The Econo Lodge, Grandma's Kitchen and The Waffle House.


Survivors include her husband, Douglas "Doug" Speidel, Hopkinsville; four sons, Terry Hyams, Elkton, Charles Barber, Bowling Green, Ray Barber, Zephyrhills, Florida, Neal Cantrell, Dallas, Georgia; six daughters, June Hall, Clarksville, Tammy White, Hopkinsville, Stacey Gannon, Clarksville, Diane Crawford, Hopkinsville, Mary Johnson, Hopkinsville, Marie Haines, Clarksville; two brothers, Tom Hyams, Russellville, Morris Hyams, Russellville; two sisters, Betty Castile, Olmstead, Jen Stokes, Jacksonville, Florida; 36 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
