Joseph W. Hyams age 77 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Monday February 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Todd County, Kentucky on November 5, 1934 to the late Richard E. and Hessie Collins Hyams. He worked as a Carpenter with Kenneth White Construction for many years and is a member of the New Union Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Hyams, his son Michael Hyams and a sister Agnes Eden and is survived by:

2 Sons – Joseph Dewayne Hyams of Russellville, Kentucky Richard Allen Hyams and wife Judy of Goodlettsville, Tennessee 1 Daughter – Wanda May Mayhew of Russellville, Kentucky 4 Brothers – Elmer Hyams and wife Barbara of Russellville, Kentucky Marion Thomas Hyams and wife Marina of Russellville, Kentucky Morris Hyams and wife Barbara of Russellville, Kentucky Terry Hyams and wife Penny of Elkton, Kentucky 3 Sisters – Virginia Stokes of Jacksonville, Florida Betty Castille and husband Frank of Russellville, Kentucky Carolyn Spiegel and husband Doug of Hopkinsville, Kentucky 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren

Funeral Services for Joseph Hyams will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday February 8, 2012 in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Donnie Blick and Bro. Scott Marshall officiating and burial to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time.
