Guy Milton McGrady Sr., 65, of Barren Springs, died Sunday, July 23, 1995, in Duke University Hospital, Durham, N.C.
He was born in Wythe County December 19, 1929, son of the late Herman McGrady and Flora Frost McGrady.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jane Ogle McGrady; daughter, Wilma Ann McGrady, Durham, N.C.; son and his wife, Guy Milton Jr. and Debra Kay McGrady; sister, Ruth Owens, Dublin; brothers, Jack and Harry McGrady, both of Hillsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 1995, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville. Interment will follow in Frost Cemetery, Barren Springs. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM. Tuesday at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
