Vicki Diane Edwards, 63, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at her residence. She was a homemaker. She was born December 30, 1955, in Charleston, Illinois, the daughter of the late Orval A. and Modesta (Price) Lanman. She married Dennis Johnson on August 3, 1973. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1978. She married Bob Edwards on November 4, 1990, in Ashmore, Illinois, and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Tiffany (Christopher) Roan of Paris, and Heather Johnson of Paris; three sisters, Helen (Bob) McCarty of Mclean, Illinois, Kay (Mike) Lindsey of Paris, and Judy (Wayne) Chism of Ashmore, Illinois; five grandchildren, Brianna Roan, Kyler Roan, Blake Roan, Dalton Seafler, and Kimberlee Seafler; two great grandchildren, Aydrik Pratt and Kannyn Roan; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Jim Lanman; two sisters, Bonnie Flemming and Patty Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Ashmore Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and above all else, she loved her family.
Services celebrating her life will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private in St. Omer Cemetery, south of Oakland.
