AUBURN, N.Y. - William Adams Sr., 63, of Auburn, N.Y., and formerly of Clearfield, died Wednesday, Nov. , at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Born in Clearfield March 2, 1918, he was the son of Blair and Maude (Wisor) Adams.
Surviving are his wife, the former Shirley Fitzgerald, of Auburn; six sons, Wilmont (Jake) of Clearfield, Bruce, Jeffrey, David and William Jr., all of Auburn, and Edward of Barbery; six daughters, Mrs. Vaughn Way of Duncansville, Daria Homens of Maryland, Donna Adams of Auburn, N.Y., Mrs. Judith Bailey of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. Mary Beth Huey and Mrs. Judith Gilbert, both of Auburn; two brothers, Oliver and Gordon Adams, both of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Wall of Curwensville R.D. and Mrs. Alpha Retta of Barbery, Niagara Falls, N.Y., and 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at the Cheche Funeral Home, Auburn, N.Y. Interment will be in Stoneville Cemetery, Clearfield R.D.
