OBITUARY

Johan Kaidera was born in Finland, July 16th, 1844, and died in Centerville, Wash., on the 9th day of July, 1917, being at the time of his death, 73 years of age.
When a young man, he went to Norway, where he was married to Kreta Matilda Karrakka in 1873. In the year 1874 they came to the United States, and settled in the State of Michigan. They remained there until 1877, when they moved to Klickitat County, Washington, and took up a homestead two miles north of Centerville, which he owned at the time of his death, and on which he resided practically all the time.
His wife died April 7th, 1914, and they are survived by eight children, two sons and six daughters, all of whom are living.
Mr. Kaidera was a member of the Finnish Lutheran Church at Centerville, of which church he had been a member for a number of years.
Funeral services were held from this Church, at Centerville, on the 12th day of July, 1917, and burial made and the Centerville Cemetery.
