Permelia Jean Hankins Ramsey, 71, of Hopkinsville, formerly of Russellville, died June 26, 2007, at a Hopkinsville nursing home.
The Logan County native was born June 14, 1936. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a daughter of the late Woodrow Hankins and Lela Allen Hankins. On November 14, 1953 she married Ray Ramsey. They had two sons Harold Ray and Andy Lee. They survived her.
Survivors also include three brothers, Wilson Hankins of Franklin and Ray Hankins and Harold W. Hankins, both of Russellville.
Graveside service is at Maple Grove Cemetery. Young Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
